When I was a child, my grandfather albert was a bookmaker.
With money hard to come by and my parents trying to get the best for me while saving on paying for a child minder, I was often palmed off to him.
Day in day out I would spend my days in the kiosk watching people trying to improve their finances and often loosing the wages they had worked so hard for to better the life for their families.
During these years, and having nothing else to do in there, I became obsessed with literally every detail in the racing world.
